Hi im new to the forum and new to the ranger but i have an explorer also. And had many other cars also but ive got the truck now for a toy. I got a good deal in it and am trying to learn the tricks to it. It does need work but that will come in time.

I tried posting a picture of it in my avatar but it didnt take so ill post a picture of it. And so far i like everthing about it except the person i got it from done a hack job lowereing it by heating the springs so some time im gonna do it right in the front. Only think i wish it had more power the little 3.0 just dont do it for me right now. But im looking into to a turbo or supercharger in the future. I had a nitrous kit i thought about putting on it but decided to sell it instead. I came from driving a turbo eclipse and a 5.0 mustang to the ranger so thats why it seems very slow to me.

yea no nitrous on a stock 3.0L bad idea. but you might have 3.73 gears, try putting in 4.10s or 4.30s and that will make a big diffrence

Are the gears the same as what a mustang uses. I know there both 8.8
