Welcome! The only thing Mazda on that truck is technically the transmission (but the same mazda automatic transmission is also in the rangers). Ford/Mazda have a weird relationship. But yea, it's just a Ford ranger with different badges on it. 
When you buy parts you can call it a ranger or b2500, don't matter.
