I am a Firefighter/ Paramedic who is currently working in Iraq. I will be home is 64 days. I have just bought a 1997 Ranger Super cab 4x4 with a 3.0. I been all over the net looking for different upgrades that I could do. This is how I found your site. I have a descent mechanical background so I will be able to do a lot of the work myself. The information that I have found on here so far has been great. The one thing I have to do is figure out is how much money I want to put in to her. A lift kit is a must but there are so many choices out there Body/Suspension or both. Power programmer? Exhaust? Gears? I would like to run a set of 33 are maybe even 35. I live in Florida so I want be climbing any rocks but it will be in a little bit of mud getting to my favorite hunting spot. I will be pulling a popup toy hauler camper so not much weight there. This is not going to be a daily driver but is will be on the road. Any thoughts are ideals would be a great help.

Lots of places in Florida to go, Bro. Gainesville 4x4 clubs, Ocala 4x4 clubs Orland 4x4 clubs. Check into them when you get home safe and sound. There are some great 4x4 shops near you. Check into 4Wheel Parts. Contact some of the local 4x4/trail rider clubs and see who can give you a hand on what you want or need to build up a truck or whatever you need.
