Well I finally bought my Ranger two weeks ago, so I figured I should sign up as a member since I plan to own for years to come.
I've been using TRS for a few months now in my search for a new daily driver/work truck. The resources on this site are awesome, it's had answers for every question I throw at it.
Here is my truck:
1989 Ranger 4x4 XLT 2.3L
Day Of Purchase
As Of Today
So Far I Have:
Painted front grill, windsheild trim, windsheild wiper arms, antenna and base, ranger badges, and wheels.
Tinted Rear Tail Lights.
New Clear Headlights with high intensity bulbs all around.
New Flag Mirrors.
New 275 35 R15 BFG All Terrains.
Vacuumed and Recharged A/C.
Replaced The 8 Spark Plugs with OE Motorcraft plugs.
New Spark Plug Wires.
New Ignition Coils.
New Fuel Filter.
New WIX Air Filter.
Cleaned Air Box, MAF, TB, and Upper Intake.
Seafoamed Crank Case, Brake Booster Line, and Gas Tank.
Added 2 Zip Ties to Gas Pedal.
Replaced PCV Valve.
Still On The List:
Oil, Tranny, and Rear End Fluid Change.
Rip Out Rear Window, remove old tint, repaint trim, and reinstall.
Fix Hard to crank driver window.
Get Windows Tinted.
Line-X the Bed.
Anyhow after all that I'm not sure where I'm headed with this truck. But I have a feeling I'm going to be replacing parts for awhile now, so look forward to my questions.
