Greetings, going to be a Ranger owner soon, so I figured I would sign up. Not new at all to the "Forum scene" as I belong to about 10 of them...
Buying a 125k mi 4cyl 1994 Manual Ranger for $400 so I may take my DD/Racer Mach 1 off the street for a bit to do some work on it. (Upgrades & Repairs)
The Ranger won't stay stock, but I'm not building anything out of it other then a commuter/Home Depot runner (for now). Will be modding it to get the most out of the gas tank I can..
It currently needs; Brakes, Tailights don't work, and will be needing a clutch soon. I'll upgrade everything it needs, rather then just replace it.
Plans as of now are.. front brakes (rotors/pads), Rebuild the rear brakes (upgrade to 8.8 & disc at a later date), MSD ignition, Optima battery, change every fluid. A Ford replacement clutch and whatever else I can find cheap, to help get some better gas mileage..
Eventual plans (way future when the Mach is done) will be a Turbo build and setting it up to handle the best it can.
