I just bought my new rig… http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19366

And it has the rough country lift on it and I read in the tech library and found the note under the rough country that said: “TRS NOTE: Uses plate-style axle bracket extension (creates a clearance issue with the Dana35 axle housing not allowing full movement of the suspension, can damage the axle housing) “
Can anyone tell me if extended radius arms would held this problem, I noticed ever lift out there other than the Rough Country comes with the extended radius arms. Can I buy just an extended radius arm kit? I am also looking into the F250 shock towers, would they make any difference? What has anyone else done to improve in this basic lift? Thanx for any help!

The drop bracket on the drivers side for the passenger side beam uses a drop plate that is know for punching a hole in the aluminum housing of the d35 upon full compressor of the suspension. You either have to get some Skyjacker, Duff, or the new superlift drop brackets or lengthen the bump stop on the drivers side so that the diff cannot connect with the drop bracket. Exteneded arms will not help with the problem but probably make it worse as it will flex better. You can buy extended arms from Skyjacker or duff. The f250 shock towers will allow you to run a longer shock that will have an eye mounting style on both ends instead of a stud and an eye.

Watch the drop bracket for the passenger ttb. get one from superlift. Your diff will thank you.

Rough Country claimed some time ago they redesigned the bracket to eliminate the diff-busting issue, but it seems the kits are taking forever to appear on the market from what I've seen.

If yours has a bracket like this, BE SURE you have a good solid bumpstop extension long enough to keep the differential from smacking the bracket.

i run that RC bracket and it doesnt contact the diff at full compression. I run the d28 tho. The shops told me its the redesigned RC brackets, not the old style. Im happy with mine.
