the piece between the grill and bumper is painted the color the truck will be. and im just waiting for this motor to die and then a swap will be in the works

Whats the ETA for the swap ? You might consider doing the swap before you paint it so you don't risk scratching it or Fcking up the paint job ?? Of course if you plan to swap it soon.
