New TRS member, 2 year ranger owner

Hey I'm not new to the site I've used it quite a bit to help with my riggings, I'm just new to the forums and threads. Have a question I havent seen answered so I thought I'd ask and see who knew. I have a 1994 Ranger 4x4 4.0 v6 (door sticker says December so not sure if it's technically a '95) with auto tranny and 3.73 gears. I have recently lifted the suspension 4 inches and put on 33x12.50's so I can play in the mud. I have noticed an obvious loss of power, torque, and mpg. Where it used to get around 15 or 16 mpg...now its more like 10-12. Is there any possible way to regear it to increase all 3?? Any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated!

Yea regearing should help all 3 and get your cruise rpms back on track. someone will post up probably 4:56 or 4:88 I imagine. I think new model year is in like september or so, so yea your probably a 95.Someone just had this question answered about 2 days ago but I was drinkin and CRS. Check here also

ok thats the first ive heard of 4.88 but how would each affect it and how do i get the gears? In case it aint obvious differentials is one area i am totally lost in lol

Ok the best thing you can do is take your original question and ask it in the axles, brakes, wheels section or general discussions. You will get a ton of exposure there and lots of help, alot of these guys are really sharp and want to help. Introductions is kinda left field to be seen. with an auto, if you wheel.. i'd do 4.56's maybe even 4.88's... i'm still debating on which one myself when i steep up in tire size. i may do 35's and 4.88's.. the lower gear can help your mileage if you do a lot of in town driving and keep it kinda slow. i'm gonna find out lol.
