New to Trucks, new to Ranger

Hello I am a newbie to both trucks and Ford pickups. I am purchasing a 2002 Ranger from my nephew. He is picking up a 2011 Ranger.
The truck is in excellent shape and I will need very little for the Mandatory safety check here in Ontario. It also has a current emmission test pass.
My other hobby is Muscle cars and I currently own a 68 Camaro. I will be updating the truck to suit my tastes and I will need help in finding good quality parts both OEM and aftermarket.
I have been a member of various Camaro websites over the years and I find these sites amazingly helpful. So I would like to say thanks in advance for any help with my questions. They may be basic but I will only ask them once.

Welcome to TRS, alot of the camaro aftermarket dealers do performance stuff for many different apps including rangers, So do lose track of your sites. Alot of camaro users are full of vehicle knowledge both ford and gm, so you on top of things there. This site has more ranger knowledge than even Ford does Id be willing to bet. And find your self a good v-6 mustang site, they have a habit of modding the 3.8's and 4.0's in a manner that can be easily adapted to the ranger v-6's. In my free time, I actually (rediculous I know) read through the tech section even if it dont apply to my particular truck. KNowledge is power LOL. We have a bunch of people from canada so anything you need canadian law wise you should be able to figure out here. Again welcome to TRS.

I'm a Camaro man at heart myself, sold my drag car a few months ago....... I don't even like Ford, just rangers and bronco's that's it.
