new to the site with my 2008 ranger

hey everybody i'm new to the site..i drive a 2008 ranger 2wd with a 3.0 V6..i've got it sitting on 31x10.5 federals on a 15x8 rim..i haven't done anything with it but that and i put blue neon lights inside that the light the cab up at night..i unbolted the exhaust where the catalyitic converter connects to the exhaust pipe..half the exhaust still goes through the muffler so it's not extremely loud but it sounds pretty mean..the only sound system i have in it as of right now is my stock speakers along with 6 tweeters i added..i plan to trade it in for a 4wd and fix it up when i get a little money saved..i tried to put pictures up of my truck but i'm not quite sure how lol but i have a slide show of it on youtube under "my 2008 ford ranger"...you can also check it out on my myspace page at http://www.myspace.com/chriswebb05

hey thanks man! i want to do some more upgrades to the truck but like i said i plan to trade in for a 4wd considering it has more potential than a 2wd ya know

Welcome! Nice rig...it's almost exactly what I want if i get a new one....bright ass red, XLT, 4x4, 4.0, 5spd, i'd want the chrome pkg.

But uh..i gotta ask...why didn't you buy what you wanted in the first place!???? Hello empty wallet since you ate up depreciation.

i joined the army and when i came back there it was..been driving it ever since..but i can see what you mean..if i would have known my parents were to something i would have told them to get a 4wd cause i just simply don't have much use for a 2wd..even my girlfriend has a 4wd lol

Nice truck.

I wouldnt underestimate the 4x2. Unless you do really heavy offroading a 4x2 is all you need. Most people want a 4x4 just cause but never really use them. Plus the gas mileage just sucks on a 4x4 Ranger.
