New to the ranger world need help!!!!!!!

Hey, I just bought a 1988 for ranger stx 2.9l 5spd for 900 bucks truck runs great. Only has 158739 miles on it i bought it from a old guy on a farm. I put new hoses, heater core/hoses, full tune up, k&n filter, Flowmaster 44 and all fuilds changed expect front diff, and put hella 500 lights on front brush gaurd. and will be full herculiner all over truck inside has floor already done. I also put in new fuel pumps and front bushings wheel bearings and brakes. My PROBLEM is i wanna lift it but rough country said their 4inch kit wont fit a stx but i saw online where someone had the same kit on their red 1988 stx. so my question is will a 4inch rough country fit or do i need to stick with the skyjacker 2inch stx lift??

There is a thread on here somewhere, I'm pretty sure it's stickied too, that should answer your questions thoroughly. But the short answer is if you have an stx highrider your truck is already lifted from the factory 2" so the 4" kit will only lift your truck two more inchs.
