There are several things to keep in mind during the cycling. For one, you want to use the entire shock stroke of the shock while using all of your wheel travel. This implies that the shock must be mounted at a certain angle and point in space that is nearly compressed at full suspension bump, and fully extended at full suspension droop. You can't just decide on a random angle and place, the suspension has to be cycled to determine these points.

depends on the shocks you get. when i did mine, i bolted them to the lower arm with no spring in there, compressed them all but 1/4" and then measured how far out the top of the frame they poked. the mid travel kit only uses like 6" of shock stroke so you won't over extend the shock.

Hey how did you compress them? Did you just compress them all the way the lock it some how and set it in there?

I was gonna compress it, measure hole to hole on the shock, then bottom out my truck and measure how high it'd be off top of frame, weld the plate in there and then put the shock in.

Looking good man

Nice job! That's cool how a month or 2 ago you knew almost nothing about prerunners and now your putting in your own suspension. Props to you man :icon_cheers:

Haha yeah I still don't know to much. Just learning about the a arm rangers I guess. I have to call Brandon at BTF every once in a while but he's a real cool dude. Always down to help me out.

Unsprung weight much? Although I can't really say much... I have TTB's. :icon_rofl:
