Was at the pull a part yesterday when I decided to snag a power booster and MC from a 1994 4wd Exploder. Decided to mess with it tonight. Come to find out the Ex MC has different sizes for the brake lines than the 85 Ranger. So instead I ran just the power booster to my factory manual brake MC. Had to drill a hole farther down on the brake pedal arm and find some nylon bushings to make a "custom" bolt for the rod to mount to. Gravity bled everything and now I can just LIGHTLY tap the pedal and put myself through the windshield. I've owned numerous other Ranger's and B2's and none of them ever stopped like this. It feels like 4 piston calipers on a race car! To beat it all my pads are just about done for as well as the rear shoes and it still stops this good. Next in line is a conversion to PS and Saginaw pump. After that is to find a 4 cyl M50D and a manual 1354 case. Got to get everything ready for when it's on 36's and full widths. BTW it's 2wd now.
