Hey all, been asking questions and lurking for a few months, never had a chance to get a decent pic of my truck. I know you guys here are kinda biased towards 4x4 rigs, but here it is.

'94 Ranger Xcab, 2wd, 4.0, 5 spd. The canopy and the Ghey pinstriping are soon being removed.

I have some 16" factory wheels from a '99 Ranger 4x4 that I'm mounting up with 225/60-16 fronts and 235/60-16 rears.

Truck is in Exc condition, I put in a new radiator, shocks, brakes, changed all the fluids. It's got 180,000km.

nice looking truck! pinstripe was the first thing i took off my ranger as well.

2WD doesn't matter. That's a good lookin Ranger. I agree the pinstripe would probably be a good idea to take off as well as the shell, although if you painted that to match the truck it would look pretty good. It looks like the body is in great shape too. Post some pics when you get the new tires.

Nice truck, Love the color! I also took the pin strips off of mine very quickly. Its cool to see a stock one, that is exactly what mine looked like back in the day.
Mine is not 4wd and never seem to have any problem on here, everyone is awesome when you have a problem. Glad to see a new truck, and see what you are going to do with it.

Oh, I forgot, I also put in a (very basic) stereo too.

Sony CD head unit with Pioneer speakers F&R.

The truck is my "second vehicle" doing duty after our family hauler, a 2004 Toyota Sienna, so any upgrades/repairs need to be done on the cheap. I only paid $3200 for it, so I'm not really big on doubling my investment throwing parts at it day and night. Just a few select upgrades and dressups and keep it under budget.

The 16" factory ranger 4x4 rims cost me $200 for the full set, with center caps, and I'm stripping and refinishing them myself.

Going to paint each of the 5 holes black and then clearcoat the whole works.

These style of wheels are the ones I'm refinishing:

The rims that are on it now are 14's and I'm keeping them for winter use with some 205/75-14 GoodYear Nordics that are fully studded. I hate sliding around in the winter!

Yeah, if the canopy was black instead of white, I'd probably like it better, but that's the way it came.

I'll probably wind up taking the canopy off for summers and reinstalling it in the winter.

And yes, I will post some pics when I get the rims on.

Also waiting on a set of the (small) factory fender flares, in black from a TRS member who's parting out his truck.

Like these:

1994 Ranger XLT 2.3 5 speed 2wd, 6 in skyjacker lift, 3 inch body lift, 33x1250 BFG A/T, plenty of off-road lights

What did you do with the rear end to run 33's pushed by a 4 cyl?

I assume you regeared it down substantially?

Well it had 30's on it, and with them i did 4.56, now its a dog again with the 33's, so i should swap 5.13's, but I'm thinking of doing a 8.8 swap and put 5.13's in that.

Looks good, can't wait to see how it will look when everything done.

Here is what mine looks like. I believe all three of us have the same color.

I do believe so. Of course it looks like you have what i wish mine was...

Funny I have a picture of mine very similar to that

I traded the roll bar for the cap. How did I get stuck w/o a 4.0?
