Did a little more work on the truck last night. I installed a new oil pump, new oil pan gasket, and new water pump.

not too often you see a 2.9 on an engine stand most people dont bother haha im a 2-9 guy love em. haha sweet build keep er goin

I hope it runs good. I got the motor/tranny out of a wrecked 87 4x4. So, I was never able to drive it. I am installing new water temp and oil pressure gauges before I start it.

I don't think I have ever seen a motor with so much grime on it I took the motor out of a wrecked 87 4x4. I was able to hear it run but couldn't drive it.

I probably won't be posting anymore pics till I get the engine in the truck. And I guess the project it is kind of a "lame". But my goal this winter is to just get it on the road. More improvements will come later. Happy Holidays everyone.

it would be great if you kept us updated! The truck looks like its pretty clean.

Well...make it UN"lame", and post pics of what you do, and if you ever want to get rid of those rims pm me, I dig em

and I got a question...when you change shackles why didnt you get some beltech 6400 or other lift shackles?

I like the build. Even if it is not laden with pictures. Your doing more than I ever have. Hope to have my own build thread buy the end of next year.

Keep up the good work.

I am on a tight budget this year. Real estate market is way down and that takes a big pinch out of my play money. Also, if I want to go higher in the back, I have the lift blocks from the 4x4 that I parted out.

I like the build. Even if it is not laden with pictures.
Thanks, I appreciate it.

mc_muench,
Where are you in cheeseland? I have been to Mukwonago a few times. I have also been to "Bong" recreational area. I used to go dirt bike riding in Wisconsin occassionally.

In live a city called West Allis, outside of Milwaukee, the name of which is named after the company, Allis Chalmers, if anyone has ever heard of it
