I just started working on an 89 ranger that I purchased on Ebay about 18 months ago. It came with a siezed engine and no transmission. I will post more pictures as I start to assemble the truck. I am replacing the rear shackles and brackets this week.

I dont know about anyone else's opinion, but I think if you clean them rims up they'll look sick!

What are your plans for it?

pics

I will get some pics up tommorrow morning. I will be putting in a stock 2.9 with a new oil pump, new water pump, EGR delete, pace setter headers. I will be putting on some 31"s for tires. I know some people may not like lifted 2wd's, but I do.
But next year I hope to put a Thunderbird 3.8 SC motor in it. SInce I already have one sitting in my garage.

Don't know what size tires to get yet? I still may go higher with the truck. I already have lift blocks from and 87 ranger 4wd. I wonder what size tires I could run with 2" suspension lift and 3" of body lift?

I did a little degreasing under the hood today. Took the 0-2 sensor out of the factory y- pipe. Removed the EGR valve and tubing from the 2.9 going into it. Put on an EGR block off plate. Below are pics before and after the body lift. Also went to the junkyard and got a clutch interlock switch.
