Finally got it in. Boy, is it a stubborn piece of wood. Fought, and fought. But it's in now.

A center console is in the planning stages. It's gonna go all the way up the dash. It will provide a place to run wiring and house the 4x4 control module, as I'm not putting carpet back in. Instead I'm slathering some bedliner on the floor boards and under the seats and running floor mats. Easy to clean and inexpensive.

I like it, gave me the idea to take my jump seats out of the back of my truck, because all I use it for is storage and hauling groceries, parts, etc., that and the fact nobody ever sits back there anyway.

Very good, but I need to make a suggestion. I highly advise that you create some sort of a bracket to hold those ammo boxes down, in the event of rollover or other crash those things just become 10lb projectiles.

I also like the idea of bed-lining the floors, I've always like the Rangers with rubber floors rather than carpet floors.

i like it but one question. Why carpet the box and bedline the floor? i like bedlined floors too but i personally think it would look better with floor carpeted or the box bedlined too.

The only place carpet will be showing is the floor pans, which if covered in carpet would just be covered in floor mats regaurdless.

Bed liner will just be less expensive and easier to clean.
