1st gen ranger swb, 4x4. dd with minimal off road stuff. but i do carry loads in the bed and pull trailers with it. needing new(er) springs for sure. really don't want to lift it any. what would be the way to go? 63" chev springs, stock mounting points and remove the blocks, if all that would work? just get my old springs re-arched? have a good place locally that does that.
and what for the front? what would i get to replace the old ones there? still would keep it level with the rear with little to no lift.
so, what are my options for newer springs all the way around without lifting my truck? my 2" body lift is plenty for me.

Do you need to replace the springs? If not, I've had success with air shocks for compensating for sagging springs with and with out a load, and using add on bags to compensate for extra load weight. Of the two, the better IMO, but pricier is the add on bag. IIRC, shocks ran me about C$160.00 for a pair [2 years ago], and the bags were ~C$350.00 at the time [10+ years ago]. Installation extra.
The advise is free...take it for what's it's worth :D
Good luck,

Richard

thanks. i have an aux gas tank in the bed and usually have it at least half full (12-15 gals.). in addition, my full size spare is there plus other misc. things. i also pull a small camping trailer and utility trailer with it. so, there is some weight back there. and my springs really have no arch now at all. i do plan on replacing the shocks with the coil spring over shocks. for $100, can't beat 'em!
