New Side Mirror, quick question...

Well, came out from my girlfriends house a few weeks back and some drunk guy stumbled out of the neighbors place in the middle of the night and had broken off my passenger side mirror and thrown it into a bush. I have an 01 XLT with the nicer mirrors, not the flap ones like my older ranger had. Anyway, found one on ebay and threw in a bid on it, and then realized after the fact that the mirror I bid on was advertised as a 2004-2005 mirror. Just wondering if anyone knows if they will still fit on my 01. It looks identical to the one I have. Also wondering what I need to do to throw on the new one. I am assuming I need to take off the inner door panel to get to it, but if anyone knows off the top of their head, help is appreciated. Thanks.

I think that it will work. I don't know for sure. It does look exactly like mine and mine is an 03. i think that putting it on is just 3 bolts. But for that deal i would not worry if it works. You could resale it and prob. make money.

ya it will work any mirror from 93-05 will fit as long as its that "rounded" style one

Thanks much.... Kinda what I figured, just wasn't sure if the bolts underneath were different from year to year or not seeing as I haven't taken mine apart yet.
