ok i need some opinions here...
i have an 88 ranger: supercab, 2.9, w/180,000, Fm146, dana 28 adn 7.5 both L/S, threeinch body lift, and coil spacers and blocks; 32 super swampers.
i called about an 84 ( which turned out to be a 94) ranger, six inch lift, two inch body lift, 35"boggers, 2.9 w/ 160,oooFM146, D28, 7.5, 4.56's, rear is locked, regular cab, blue. its way cooler than my truck...
i called on it for 900 bucks.. i called and considered a trade... he said, appropriately, he wants to look at it. we looked and exchanged thougts for about an hour... the ONLY thing is that it has a cracked transfer case rear housing (ARE THESE REMOVABLE WITHOUT TAKING OUT THE TRANSFER CASE, OR IS IT RUINED??) sounds sketchy and i met up with him...and he just noticed it, and offered to throw in 200bucks cash for the tcase. it sounds sketchy to me... but this would be the first time that i ever bought a car myself... any opinions??
