Is it really going to come back to the states in 2019 or is it the same stall tactic that I have seen for several years? :icon_confused:

Yes, Ford actually announced that they were reintroducing the Ranger in 2019, and a Bronco in 2020.

Here's one parked next to a Dodge Ram.

I'd like something that's an in between from the old Ranger to the F-150.

The Ranger is a bit small for an exploring / camping vehicle, and the F-150 could be a little to big for some trails.

So it is ugly AND pointless. YAY!

I think they have potential

From what I have read, it will be Body-on-Frame and with an updated front clip to match the styling of the 2019 F-150 and similar in size to the T6.

We'll have to wait and see. It will likely be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show a year from now.

One guy who claimed to be with Ford said it was going to be a facelifted T6. Somewhere between a 97-03 F-150 and a 2004+ F-150 for size... which is kind of a tight margin.

That should be how they come from the Factory. Course with a $60k price tag attached it isn't going to sell very well. Can't imagine what price tag they're going to throw on the Ranger and Bronco when they release them here in the US again...with the current mid-size pricing forget even bringing them back. If they can't build them like the old Ranger and Bronco why bother. Automakers have way too damn many vehicles in their lineups already that are way too close in size and style.

I also read on another site that they're bringing back the Jeep Grand Wagoneer and a Jeep pickup based on the Wrangler styling. They are saying the Grand Wagoneer will fill the $60-100k price range :icon_surprised:.

Got that right! What an ugly thing that is. I won't even bother going to a dealer to see one. In any event, I don't like four wheelers. I like down to earth street trucks. It appears the Ranger won't have that option any more.

They have not released what the facelifted truck will look like yet...

Im very happy to say I will be building the new Ranger and Bronco here at the Michigan Assembly and everyone here is very excited to get started on it!

See if you can get some pictures of the finished truck.
