Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a 2002 Ranger Edge, V6 3.0, 5-Speed(Black) 120k miles, and had a few questions about where to get started finding parts and mods.
I was actually looking for a place where i can get after market bed rails(the raised stock plastic ones) or if can I also fit the regular non raised caps on instead?
Also any suggestions on the best place to find parts such as grills, gauge clusters, headlights ect. (I live in So-cal)

I have exp. in older cars not newer ones. I own a 1964 Falcon, and have owned 65, 66, and 67 mustangs. =)

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Also the bed of the truck has a sprayed on bedliner but some of it is messed up/faded from normal wear and tear. Can I roll on a top coat to freshen it up and make it look better? Also where do I find new chrome bed bolts to replace the rusty ones currently in there.

Everyone will say google/ check the store on this site. Top right side of screen it says parts or something similar. It's Jim oaks site. Body lifts and such are sold through him and he's actually a good place to save a couple bucks off other places and shipping is a good speed. I got 4 pro comp es9000's for 142 I believe or something close to that. They work great cept I need to fix stiffness of back suspension and lift front/back evenly.

A cheap good way to lift rear is belltech shackles. Do a search on belltech and watch some builds.

you should be able to roll on another coat or two of bed liner over the old stuff. just make sure you prep it good. also, try here for parts for your truck: www.lmctruck.com
they may not be the cheapest, but they do have good quality products. it's also a good catalog to get as it will show what models share same parts when you need to go to the local jy.
the tech library here on TRS has a wealth of information on what you have and how you can improve it.
have fun with your ranger and Welcome to TRS !!!

LMC isn't that expensive on some items. I ordered a new tailgate from them for about $40 more than a junkyard gate nearby that I would have had to work on a little before painting. JC Whitney sells lots of accessories too, but some are really poor quality.
