New Ranger owner from Sweden!

Hi!

I have always been interested in US-Fords so i thought i should try out a Ranger, so i bought one yesterday and found this forum today

I have been tinkering alot with european Fords, Sierra, Scorpio, Mondeo etc, but i found the Ranger more robust and reliable. What i understand the US Fords have many things in common with the european ones.

Im having some problems with my gauges, only the speedo, tach and volt gauges works atm. I hope to get them fixed, it's the only problem with the truck right now.

Welcome friend! There's enough "meatballs" around here (myself included) that you'll feel right at home. So, how long before you Ranger goes Swedish and get's a SAAB turbo swap?

I have owned a 1986 Saab 900 T16 and it broke down all the time, so i wont go there .

Im thinking of putting in a 2L Pinto engine from a Ford Sierra in the Ranger and then perhaps build a simple turbo setup, but that's something for the summer
