New Ranger owner from Canada

Just got hold of a 2000 Ranger, not mint, but got it for a good price. Takes the heat off my Mustang as a Daily Driver.
Looking forward to reading about the mods and upgrades that are possible later on. For now the priority is to get it driving as best I can to be a reliable commuter and hopefully get into some improvements as time permits.

Well that was sort-lived!!
Turns out the frame is too rusted to be certified, at least economically. The previous owner flat-out lied about it being certified 8 months ago. My own fault for believing him I suppose. Lesson learned all be it an expensive one.
Moving on, I have found one to replace this, its a 2002 Mazda B4000. This time it is certified and e-tested so I don't have to worry about that.
I will have to figure out the differences between it and the Rangers of the same vintage apart from the obvious visual ones.
Probably try and off-load the Ranger as a whole truck rather than parting it out, would be good for someone as the engine/trans etc are all good as is the cab.
