New PCV valve looks different...

Hey guys I noticed when I installed my new PCV that it did not have a two prong male connector attached to it like the one that came off. I left the harness unplugged seeing as I had nothing to plug it in to...

Will this harm anything, not having the PCV with the electrical connection??

the CO truck, was a two prong OEM, and the replacement did not have it.
its been running for a year know with no ill effect
