Any of you guys looking forward to any new movies coming out this year?

I can't wait for the following:

Cars 2
Fast Five
Kung Fu Panda 2
The Hangover 2
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Pt. 2
Transformers: Dark of The Moon
A Very Harold and Kumar Christmas

There might be a couple more that I'm forgetting.

Definitely will be wanting to see:
Cars2
Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon

"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" is supposed to come out May 20th too.

I can't wait for these:

Green Hornet
Green Lantern
The Mechanic
Drive Angry
Fast 5
Pirates
The Hangover 2
Kung Fu Panda 2
Cars 2
Transformers
Harry Potter
Captain America
Thor
Mission Impossible
and Harold and Kumar...

There are some others I just can't remember the names of.... and some of these look retarded but I wanna see them anyways.

Pirates for sure Depp was great in the past ones. Green Hornet I wonder if it can hold up to old school comic reader and tv series fans like me, I hope so I will for sure go see it.

I think your thinking of Green Lantern, green hornet is the one with seth rogen and is like a wannabe batman type movie.

Nope I am talking Green Hornet, it first came to radio in 1936 and later stared Bruce Lee as Kato. Yea we had all the cool stuff back then just not innanet as known today.:icon_thumby:

The Green Hornet was awesome. Kado was a badass and Seth Rogen was hilarious. Christoph Waltz again does a fantastic job as a psychotic scary villain, but does it this time with a comedic twist.

The mechanic was pretty good as well, reminded me of Gwaii if he had put his talents into killing people instead of building things.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Suckerpunch on here. As of now that's the current movie I'm most excited about for 2011. :icon_bounceblue:

Gwaii was a part of it also, he supplied the suchi and whale to feed the crews and stunt manned for Lee.

Hmm... interesting. Learn Something new every day! :icon_thumby:

I'll have to see it, I have been making a point of seeing all of the original movies of some of the more modern outakes on them like Gone in 60 seconds, Death Race and Oceans 11. Cause some people always think the old ones are better and the new is too far different. I'm blessed with the not caringness that movies don't match thier older counterpart, both are good in their own ways.

Cars 2: No, first one was generic.
F&F5: Really, again..
Kung Fu panda: first one was awful.
Hangover 2: probably won't live up to expectations, usually a great original is destroyed by its sequel...
Harry Potter: I liked these when i was in 5th grade :/
Transformers: The preview looked good till i found out it was another transformers... ZZZZZZZZ
H&K Christmas: probably will be funny!

Hollywood is really running out of ideas. Everything is a sequel, mostly of terrible originals. They're down to making one or two good movies a year, the rest is cash cow fluf (ie, cgi kid movies, special effects extravaganzas, bad comedies).

Talk about negativity...

K, here's some movies that sound decent:
Hall Pass
No Strings attached
Unknown
30 minutes or less

No Strings attached was actually pretty good. I didn't expect an Ashton Kutcher film to be that well done.

I have VERY high hopes for Unknown. To date, Liem Nieson has never made a bad movie. I hope he can continue that streak.
