New Member / New (to me) Ranger

Hey everyone. I am a new owner of a 2022 RAnger XLT 4x4. I am a camping enthusiast and have done all sorts of car, cabin, back country carry in/out camping my whole life. Even going as far as camping in a hurricane (nice job dad). I have lived in Tennessee for the last seven years and have not yet gone to Land Between the Lakes, but my wife and I have been wanting to go. My Ranger is pretty stock right now and has some semi-aggressive all terrains on it. Can a stock Ranger handle the 300s at LBL? I don't want to go up there and get going down a 300 and realize I can't turn around and get stuck.

@Robertmangrum.rm could probably answer that. I haven't been on any 300's that I recall. The 200' I've seen have been pretty tame. There are miles and miles of roads to roam out there. The key on any road anywhere is to stop before you get stuck. There's nothing wrong with backing up a bit or doing a 372 point u-turn (Austin Powers?). Don't let "What if"s cheat you out of a good time.

I'd like to encourage you to join us in September. Group rides can be fun and you always have help if something does go slightly wrong.

Sweet man, thanks for the info. I would love to join y'all on the event. It's only about an hour from where I live. I will be out of town around then so it will be more of a last minute decision if I can make it or not. But definitely going to try.
