Hello Paddy, welcome to TRS. I went walking through there about 1972, and it was at least 110F. A school and work buddy asked me to go out there with him to look for his dad.
We got to that river bridge and took off down below it, took a swim in the Colorado River.
Heading on we caught a truck heading for Mexicali, haha, we got to LA eventually but sure enuff took the long route

Thank you! And yeah it certainly does get hot around here. 120°F isn't unheard-of in the summer. The winters are nice though
