I picked up an 2003 3.0 V6 with 200K miles just last month. Been spending the time since fixing the needs and figuring out what is next.
And today I learned that Ford put the data link connector on the same fuse/circuit as the cigarette lighter! Took me a few hours to figure out why Forscan wasn't talking to the computer - fuse #17 was blown. But now Forscan is talking and now I got 3 PATS keys programmed.
