Whats up people? I've been lurking around for a month and decided to join.

I just inherited my GF's grandfather's old 92 ranger XLT due to hip replacement surgery. I runs alright (besides the leaky clutch slave) and I'm looking to bring it closer to the 21st century in terms of comfort, usability and power. This is my first truck and I plan on doing lots of work to it since my initial investment was zero. I'm contemplating a 4WD swap in the spring, until then just appearence and maintainence work.

Well, good price for it...but I'd stretch the cab first and then lift it...but check the frame for rust before you spend any money on upgrades...

Then you know your investment is going to be worth the effort...especially check the spring mounts on the front....gen ii were not as bad as gen iii...but still a good place to start...

There is some surface rust on the frame nothing rotted completely through from what I can see. The front perches were rewelded last year, new brake lines and a recent clutch, looks like they reused the slave to save cash unfortunately.

Zero initial cost always stimulates the project ideas...well, even high initial cost may still stimulate ideas, just may be harder for the wallet to support.
