1200 is the base price...

After the $300 rebate and military discount it was $1686.

im glad that they give military discounts. at least you get a little in return for something big that you did. thanks :icon_thumby:

I like the backlit keyboard. Wonder if they have those for other machines?

not sure... but I can change all of the LED colors, on everything. I really like this laptop though, its power is very noticeable.

Holy crap, for $1600 you could have had a nice MacBook or MacBook Pro and not had any of the issues Windows has.

Good looking laptop though.

Except that's a gaming laptop, not something the MacBook or OSX excels at.

I actually hate OSX. Always have, I like windows layouts better, and windows 7 seems very solid so far.

If I wanted an underpowered, light notebook, I would of kept my XPS. It was time for something with power, which there is no comparison between my alienware and the MBP.

Nice choice of laptop. If I had the money I probably would have gotten one. I just ordered a M11X last week. Base model with 4GB ram and bluetooth. I'm excited to get to use it.
