Hi my name is Nick. I have had my 89 2.3L Ranger for about 8 months now and I love it. I got it for 400 dollars with a bad 5 speed tranny. About a week of owning it I put a new tranny in it. I have been doing a few mods/repairs to it here and there. I put a set of wheels on it. Made a cold air intake for it. Installed a led dome light. Removed most everything that had to due with A/C. Removed the manual fan. Installed new plugs, wires, and coils. I just had a check engine light come on so now I'm working on getting that fixed. I replaced the O2 sensor and got a new fuel pressure regulator but still need to install it. I also had a code saying that the pressure switch for the power steering is bad.

I joined this forum hoping to get some help on a few mods I still want to do. The first one is installing a one piece drive shaft in my 2wd extended cab ranger. And the other is putting a thunderbird turbo coupe motor in my truck. Any links on that info would be great.

LOL nice. I also just thought of another mod I want to do. I hate the brake setup on the fount of my ranger is there anything I can go to change that. I already plan on going with the explorer 8.8 rear end to get the brakes in the back changed.

I just replace my fuel pressure regulator to day I hop that helps me get better the 12 mpg
