hey im new here and new to the rangers. is there anything is there anything i should look at or that usually goes wrong with these chassis/ drivetrain?

First off welcome to the site. Honestly as long as you have manual everthing, Hubs, tranny, t-case you'll have little to no problems. If you want to build a serious off roader never go any bigger than 33s with open diffs. BW1350-BW1354 t-case doubler is must for rock crawling. other wise you won't be able to go slow enough not to brake things. Every thing you could want to make you ranger better is found on the explorer. All in all you won't go wrong with a ranger great all around 4x4 for daily use and has the potential for anything you think of, and looks just as good layin frame.:icon_thumby: Oh and there is plonty of threads of members droping 2.3 turbos in there trucks. Just puttin that out there.

Thats what I was hinting at I saw you had a turbo coupe. That would be a badass build post build tread up we'll love it.

welcome to the boards

alright will do im just having trouble finding a frame i need a ranger reg cab short box frame for it because of the wheel base the 83-97 has a wheel base of 107.9 and my t-bird has a wheel base of 104.2" or i can go with a '78-'96 Bronco (Full size) with a wheel base of 104.7" but i cant find a bronco frame close to me.
