[BFE4x4]

Just picked up this 85 Ranger 4x4. Figured I'd get a little toy for the winter. Has a 3 inch body lift and the 2.3 with a 5 speed. It seems kinda sluggish like it was never re-geared when the previous owner put 31s on it. What gears should it have? 4:10? 4:56? I'd like to eventually put a winch bumper on the front. A little bit about me... I'm 27, wife and 2 kids, worked for the Department of Corrections for 6 years now, hate being coupled up in the house, every chance I get I'm outside. I love to weld and fabricate so if you guys can give me some ideas I'll build some bumpers. Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
