im tired of them rust bucket chevys!

my name is jake im just out of high school. im self employed im from south central KY i just bought me a nice 4X4 a week ago to get rid of my hunk of junk 77 chevy. i paid 800 for the ranger at a car lot they gave me 700 for the chevy and here is the info.

1985 ranger 2.8 v6 5spd 4x4 reg cab it has new tires and rims has 119,000 miles on it. it needs a head light and new speakers in it. it gets good MPG's too im getting 22 highway in it.

reason for the good economy. im guessing from the receipts in the glove box had listed replace in the past 2 year or repaired i use mid grade gas and lucas fuel system treatment every fill up

new TFI module
new distributor
rebuilt carburetor
new computer
new idle position sensor
new smog pump
all new vacuum lines and complete motorcraft tune up and synthetic oil in the drive train.

my ranger is a 84 model ranger got it last year its all go except forthe motor it is trash tell me what would be better a 302,351 or a v6 2.8.
