New guy here, recent new owner of a 2000 Ranger.
I had been wanting to get a truck for my Daily for a few months, and ended up trading a 1999 Ford Contour SVT for a 2000 Ranger.
Truck is bone stock other than a flowmaster muffler.
2000 Ford Ranger XLT
Super Cab
4x4
3.0 Flex Fuel / Auto
112,000 Mi
Heres a few pics
It was filthy inside when I got it, so I pulled the interior out and got to cleaning.
Seat was in so I could move it around.
Ran some wiring for a little stereo. 4 Gauge power, 4 gauge ground, and stinger RCAs.
The seats after being power washed, the drivers seat was the worst, it had grease smashed into it everywhere.
The carpet before the power wash
And after
And all put back together
A little headlight polishing
I also put together a little stereo for this truck.
Kenwood Head unit(Ipod/USB/CD/MP3)
JBL GTO5355 4ch X 75 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms 1ch x 360 Watts RMS @ 2 ohms
Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2, dual voice coil, 2ohms, 150-500 Watts RMS
1.75 CU FT MDF box, Ported 4" x 10.75"
4 Gauge Power, 4 Gauge Ground, Stinger RCAs.
I still need to purchase and set up my Mids, and Highs. But that will come later.
Love this little truck, I'm just happy everytime I drive it. I'm averaging around 18.5 MPG with mixed city and highway.
Here is the car I traded it for, I also had the car listed for $3500, and I think this truck would bring $4,500 if I were to sell it, which I'm not.
And here are my other rides
My project which is in a few million peices right now.
The wifes ride
Our weekend toy, when the baby is with the grandparents
And last, when I want some nice alone time.
And thats me.
I do have future plans for the truck
2005+ Taillights, headlights, edge grill, hood.
Explorer Buckets
Explorer Center console
Explorer overhead console
Different wheels
