New Guy with upcomming Ranger (hopefully!)

Hey guys, I'm new here, thinking seriously about buying a 2003 Ranger with the 2.3. I've always wanted a Ranger but somehow ended up with a Nissan Sentra. I'm tired of the "tuning" crap and want a truck again; I found a really bare bones white Ranger for $5000 with 99,000kms, and am just waiting for the bank's decision on my loan (and trying to sell my Sentra). I want the truck for a daily driver and to occasionally bring it up North fishing through the woods.

I'm looking forward to being part of this community! Anything I need to know about the truck I'm looking at, or Rangers in general, before I buy one?

Welcome to TRS~!

I'd recommend an extended cab first of all...just because they have more room...not something you can change after you buy a truck...other than that, you can pretty much customize a 2003 2.3 with other things like a Turbo chargers, lifts, bigger tires...and they're not too bad on gas...

Only real down sid is they can be slow...as long as you're not rushed and you don't have to do a lot of passing the truck should be fine...
