Hey everybody, I just found this forum, and I'm liking it so far!!
A little about me....I'm 28, and I live in Beaverton, Oregon. I've been driving my '97 Explorer for a little over a year now, and have recently been bitten by the bug to start modifying it. I bought it last year with 170k on it, and am currently getting close to 191k, on the original engine, transmission, etc. Needless to say, I'm suitably impressed!
My current plans for it include: warrior shackles, torsion bar swap/crank, stepping up to 31" tires(probably Toyo M/T's), installing the K&N intake I have in my garage, installing the speakers and subwoofers I have laying around, and any repairs that come up....
I'm actually starting to look at getting a newer Ranger 4x4 when I get out of school, and retire the Explorer to camping duty/wheeling, but who knows what the future holds!!!
Anyways, glad to be here, sure i'll have plenty of questions, and hopefully i can answer a question or two, too!
