Hello Everyone,
I'm looking for a little advice, and maybe a few here could lend a hand with their knowledge. I'm looking to buy a Ranger (2wd) so I can haul small things back and forth to the campground on the weekends. I "learned" that a friend of my neighbor has a 1998 Ranger Sport with 102,000 miles for sale. It has the 3.0 V6 and has an Automatic Transmission. It supposedly has been well maintained and recently has has a few items replaced within the last year including: alternator, serpentine belt and tensioner, oxygen sensor, front and rear brakes, wheel bearings in front, and tires.
I'm going to look and test drive it in a day or so and my question is......Is there ANYTHING to be especially on the look out for. I know every vehicle has it's "know for" problems and I'm sure the Ranger is no exception. So if anyone can chime in with their suggestions or comments I would be forever grateful...Thanks in Advance....Mark
