Hello all
Just bought my first Ranger, a 2010 Sport. I swore long ago I would never own another black vehicle, but this truck checked all my other boxes (4x4, V6, extended cab / 4 doors, low miles). Here it is the day I brought it home:
The truck got two things ASAP. Tint and stereo. Here it is after tint:
Still working on the stereo, just waiting on the sub to come in the mail. I'm running CDT 6.5" components up front and Pioneer 6x8" out back. Pioneer double din touchscreen HU.
I'm trying to be as space efficient as I can with my install. I've managed to fit two amps, a cap, and a 12" sub in a ported box all behind the drivers seat.
Couple amps:
In progress (cup holder will need to be trimmed):
4-channel hiding under the box:
Mostly buttoned up:
I also plasti-dipped all my chrome badges black.
Welp, I look forward to becoming a contributor to these forums, I have been doing a lot of reading here the past few days.
Shameless plug, this is my "fun car", a 68 Mustang coupe. I have a very long build thread if you want to read it. The car has a little bit of a Ranger tie in, I'm running a 2.3 Turbo in it, I am way more familiar with the 2.3 than I would like to be
