I have a 1992 ford ranger xlt and a 93 mercury cougar. I have done some research and am a little confused on the swap and some of the smaller details. I want a/c, and p/s. I have a very small budget and i want to know what i have to do to get the 5.0l high output engine out of the cougar and put it in the ranger the ranger came stock with a 3.0l, and the cougar/truck are automatic tranny's as well.

looking for a parts list maybe, and or some links to other threads, or other builds and swap's so i can read and search through them my self.

The swap has been done by quite a few people and there is plenty of information and expertise available in the forums...if you haven't already ventured there, take a boo at them...that will probably fill an evening just reading...or check out some of the build threads (I'm only assuming they have them since I've never ventured there myself)...
