new guy from ny

whats goin on guys, names andrew, from long island ny
picked up my first ranger last sunday, new to rangers not to fords
ive had a 97 expo 5.0l since 04 which actually was totaled like a month ago

anyways ive been on a bunch of forums so im not new to these either
i belong to a couple ranger sites as well just tryin to get as much info as possible
well heres what i got....


i just purchased a 98 bagged and traditional 5" boddied ranger 2wd it had a 4cyl in it


so my plan is to use everything from the explorer, dash, computer ect... there are no wires in the ranger i have now, so the expo harness will be goin in as well, i wont be running ac, i already have torque monster headers on the truck engine now

im goin to have to run a fuel cell...
goin to run stock trans but make it a floor shift

now i live in ny which means i have to b obd2 correct for inspections so no check engine lights on or anythin like that...

Thats a damn nice ranger dude make sure you start a build thread and take lots of pics. Sounds like you know what your doing. It sucks about the inspection stuff I'm glad we don't half to worry about anything like that here. What the story behind the explorer I read that you totaled it but do you still have it? The 5.0 would make a great motor for that ranger.
