Names Chris... I'm from Killingworth, CT and have had several B series trucks and got my first ranger in 2005. I wheel a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee (ZJ) lifted on 33x10.50 Tsls. I'm sick of the Jeep and a SAS ranger or a 60's bronco is going to replace it I think...
My main ride is an 05' 4x4 XLT super cab, in dark satin green metallic. It has the 4.0L with an auto tranny and 4.10s LSD.
The truck has the 11CC spring set so it handles snow moving no problem (although I hate putting the plow on each winter) I added a husky low profile truck box and molded floor liners this fall to help keep the interior a little nicer and more organized.
This spring I'm going to be cranking the bars and hopefully installing a set of classic lock rims (gonna paint the ring black or body color, green) with the new general grabbers (265/75r16). On top of that I hope to be finally installing all of the old components and some new ones out of my old truck, 4x Whelen LED amber hideways, my Whelen dash master II with amber lenses, Whelen Siren/PA and a new cobra CB radio with dual 3' Firestick fireflys. Been also considering an intake and exhaust to free up the motor but who knows. It's gotta stay pretty mild till the student loans are paid off!
A couple years back I bought a 98 B3000 from a neighbor it was his old yard truck and had a boneyard motor swapped into it a year earlier, the truck blew a radiator on me one afternoon and ended up splitting the head gasket so the whole top end got a once over, no harm was done to the motor but it received a much needed tuneup.
It's a 1998B3000 4x4, Automatic with 3.73s. It's an Ext. Cab, White and has Leer Cap with work lights and Conduit Tube for rods, pipe etc. My old man uses it for work so it sees a lil more abuse then I care to admit.
I hate to admit it but I used to be in the whole mini truck scene and had both a 91 b2600i Ext. Cab Long bed with a cap and running boards the truck got a full rebuild on the engine but 5 years of driving and the salt up north finally got the frame. I ended up scoring a 91 b2200 ext cab short bed that was a dealership parts truck, but I never got to rebuilding the motor in that one its a shame because the body and frame were real clean.
