I've been lurking around here for a while and finally decided to sign up. I've got a 1998 2wd coil spring ranger that I put a mildish 302 and m5r2 transmission in. I'm going through the nightmare of exhaust now.
First I bought a set of tri-y headers that weren't even close to fitting, then I bought a set of Torque Monster headers that were supposed to be done months ago but am getting ghosted now, then I bought a set of iron exploder manifolds just so I could get it going but the height of the exhaust ports are horribly misaligned to my Flotek heads. I'm out of ideas at this point.

Welcome to the forum. Unfortunately, there are a few here that have run into the same problem with Torque Monster. Fortunately, we have a few who have done the 302 swap that will be willing to help out.

When I put the iron exploder manifolds on I can actually see the edge of the exhaust ports in the head along the top edges of the manifolds. I contemplated making an adapter flange on my mill as there's a fair amount of room around the manifolds.
