New Girl on the block....

nice ranger and car. I believe the truck she has is a 2wd ranger. Sits a littletoo low for a 4x4 but then again when i stand next to the new rangers i can see over the cab....maybe im just too tall, i know my reg splash is a tight squeeze lol.

Welcome to TRS , great site for all things ranger , i had 2 that same color myself , a 97 2wd identical to yours except it was a regular side bed , and a 96 4x4 , the paint itself is called Medium Willow Metallic , paint code sh , i love that color , where are you from , cause that truck looks super clean.

i'm in Gulfport,MS.

Thanks guys for all the input- and for all the comments about how clean my truck is lol - i fully washed her that day. and used some decent wax. i guess she would be 2wd b/c i got stuck in some gravel a few months back And i had some redneck boys LIFT the truck out of the hole i'd dug myself into. lol.. i don't think i wouldve been stuck in a 4wd.

is anyone into Lowered trucks? i was thinkin about bringin mine down a few inches - input ? good bad ugly? i've seen like One dropped (minitruckin - 0ct 08)

Look at the lowriders section. There are a few of us there with pics and info about lowering.

i took a look and used a few different word combos to look. But there were none with my year model or make.
Put Simply - for a 96 xlt Ranger what are the parts i would need to buy to lower my truck. Just a kit? .... and i 'm not asking for the ghetto solutions (like cutting springs myself etc) or High End. would i just flip the leaf springs? thank you in advance .

for the rear you can do a shackle flip (check the tech library), or an axle flip. the axle flip is a little more work, but you might notice a small improvement in your center of gravity/body roll.

for the front you'll need drop springs. you can get away with about 2" of drop before you need to buy new beams.
