New Girl on the block....

ahh, glad to see its a standard cab too.

is that a chrome front bumper and body-colored rear bumper i spy?

Nooo never.. lol. the back bumper is black. the front bumper will soon be replaced tho, b/c these pics are for only the GOOD side. lol. not that the passenger side is horrible or anything but i need a new front fender, n the bumper is bent in on that side. sucks.

Girl that owned it before me ,hit a ditch.. and a fence of barbwire... so yeaaah.

it IS a small cab, just enough for me,lol. Kinda sucks really. i'll be getting my self a diamond plate toolbox soon b/c i need something to put my tools n shit in.

let me see a pic or two of the lude your working with, you show urs ill show my old one LOL

hi and welcome to the site .... The easiest way I found to post pics is put them in photo bucket and use the IMG code

well she isn't finished, and i'm making slow but steady progress. My pops n i did the exterior. I did alot of the body work & he painted her. (i work two jobs or i probably would have painted her too, busybusy) i'm not sure if i'm going to keep the enkeis on her or not. haven't made up my mind yet. :/
Eventually i know i'm going to have to learn an engine swap. i believe the engine in this one is the B20a1, and apparently has a rep for throwing rods n pistons thru the block.

its probably a b21a1 in that car, thats what mine had factory, it really isnt that bad of a engine aslong as u keep a eye on the oil. i never did the larger wheels and tires on it but just in the end had a drop with some tokico blue struts all the way around and nuespeed green springs, car was a sweet ride, the ingalls camber correction kit is a must though

i think the newer ludes have the h22 you might wanna put one of them in there, and i hear motor swaps in hondas are super easy. my friend is huge into hondas and he can do a full swap in less than a day

hes obviously never worked on a prelude, there a different animal from your average honda, and the best prelude motor to put into it came from the 4th/5th gen, its the h22a1, thats the same motor i had swapped into mine

Nice looking truck BTW, nice and clean.

My first Honda was an 89 Prelude. black with camel interior. LOVED that car. Up until that point I was driving worn out 60-70's GM vehicles. A car that got decent mileage, handled well, had good brakes and scooted was all new to me. :tease:

Welcome to the forum, is that a low 4x4 or a tall 2whd ? Nice truck, Preludes are fun I drove a tricked out 99 200 miles and could not keep it under 75 mph despite a fair amount of hydroplaning and puddle shock.
