browsed the forum for a while now, figured id introduce myself. I have an 06 FX4 DSG, options include: 4x4, auto trans, power windows and mirrors, vinyl floorboards and DSG Alcoa's.
Ive cranked my torsion bars to level and added a few auxiliary lights. my truck just rolled over 100,000 miles and the only repair work that has had to be done was I had to replace the fuel cutoff safety module. all in all my truck has been damn good to me. I plan on returning the favor. bout to do a fuel induction cleaning and replacing plugs and wires, as well as a trans pan drop and fluid/ filter change.

next on my mod list is:
-OHC install
-explorer roof rack....maybe.
-Body lift and 33's

also noteworthy: I have a 97 explorer that I am selling basically everything off of. motor is blown. but seats, center console, wheels, rear end, radio, dash, etc. are all for sale. I was going to install the seats and console in my truck but my seats are still in such good condition that I opted to keep them the way they are.

Welcome aboard so any brand on mind like with the lift kit? This would be your daily work horse and weekend warrior right?

Yes, it's both my DD and weekend warrior.

for the body lift ill just go performance accessories.

most likely will end up double lifted. still in the works on which lift I want exactly. not sure if i want to fork out the $$$ for the VDF (aka dixon bros) LT kit or get the super lift and part together a coilover set up through ORW.
VDF would be more expensive but I wouldn't have to go through all the research on parting together a coilover set up.

either way I WILL get rid of these damn bars. just depends on how much money I have put away when the time comes to pull the trigger (basically how long I can stand how it sits.)
