first off
my favorite smiley
i have an 87 bronco2 that i purchased about 2 weeks ago all stock, for now...
i am in the process of doing some cleaning preventative maint. before putting her through the winter paces.
so far plans are pull the motor (happening today)
change the clutch while the motor is out(hopefully tomorrow)
replace gaskets in motor do a very thorough clean and make sure it doesn't need any major components and if all is well re install motor(hopefully by Sunday afternoon)
then drive till end of winter then the real fun begins....
current project list for the summer is
4.0 swap from Explorer
Straight axle swap, leaning twards 70's ford axles and plan on staying full width
4-6" suspension lift
2-3" body lift
getting rid of the electronic 4x4 and swapping to manual hubs/ manual T-case
removal of carpet/seats, rhino line the floor get new seats going buckets front and rear
33" tires,
other items TBD that is just the list im set on so far
anywho its great to find a forum with some real activity with the rangers/bronco2's all the others seem dead
any input/suggestions on current or future plans for the bronc is greatly appreciated as i am new to bronco's and don't know too much about them
