new FORD HD OLSCOOL Wrench on the RS 6/1

hey ya'll new 6/1 just picked up 96 2.3 auto OD with 326K! runs ok now with new TB CPS WP and SB..Very used too old school HARLEY and FORD trucks, own 61 62 65 trucks and vans now.Got gearhead mileage minded performance questions,so please if you aint a solid tech don't jump in. no offense, thanks. First.. it has autolite 104s in it,not my choice, thinkin 764s and has carbon fiber wires, not my choice either,but?? Second, its stumbles big timewhen first fired cold,but does smooth out when warmed but still stumbles at every fire up,whats worse is it stumbles BIGTIME when the oil filler cap is removed.???? There a hole in the cat which is leavin this world today with a side pipe and steel core bullet muffler welded in its place and the intake elbow boot and air muffler are T-rash as well. Elec fan comin, egr blokk off plate this week.want to strip off everything uneeded by ecm, still learnin this late model stuff and live in a non cat/emissions required county.Needin truck for 5 hour 55+ runs mostly so mileage is key.If somebody has some good tailight lenses and a white hood with hinges, P M me...I build frame up 54-66 f100's on crown vics and frame up on old PH SH and IH Harleys,once in a while a Triumph, always have a couple bikes/trucks for sale,but not a shop or business.. thanks ya'll..

brough the truck a long way from this post.... whats wild is i been replacing original equipment run seriosuly past 300.,000 F O R D period...
 
What did you do to fix the cold stumble?
