Herrro, Im Dan and ive been lurkin on here for a couple weeks now... i just picked up a 1992 ford ranger 2.3 5spd for $700. its just rolled 103,000 miles or i hope not 203,000 .. its a sweet little truck and im planning on doing a small lift or drop on it in the rear future. ive already ran into some problems with the truck so ill be askin a few questions here and there. Im already hooked on this site and hope to meet some cool dude on here!

100 or 200K for $700 you can put a new motor in and still be way ahead of the game. I would say preventive maint first, change all the fluids, complete tune up including PCV and wires, compression and vacuum tests. Protect what you have those deals dont come around very often. pics pics pics

yea im pretty sure its 103,000k. I changed the oil tranny fluid and T-stat so far...i think i gotta pull the tranny because theres a very loud grinding in every gear except 4th and the clutch goes to the floor most of the time. time for a new R2 tranny or address the old one? james86- i live in the 55396 Winthrop area.
